April 16, 2022

Full Gut Remodel with a Completely New Floorplan (3 bedrooms, 3 bath)

This stunning apartment remodel at 246 West End took us just 4 months to complete, transforming the space with a thoughtful redesign and high-end finishes.

Behind the Scenes: The Remodeling Process

From framing and flooring to HVAC installation and ceiling work, to tile installation, our contracting expertise ensured every detail of this gut remodel was executed to perfection. Every aspect of the renovation, from kitchen and bathroom remodels to complete apartment transformations, was carefully planned and executed with precision. The process involved close attention to detail, ensuring that the space not only met but exceeded expectations.

Kitchen Remodel

The kitchen underwent a major renovation, featuring a leveled and newly installed 2.25’’w white oak hardwood floor that enhances the classic prewar charm. We framed the back wall to accommodate new plumbing, boxed out the gas line, and incorporated a dropped ceiling to house the necessary ductwork for the new HVAC system. The remodel included brand-new kitchen cabinets, a sophisticated Waterworks faucet, and a luxurious 2’’ thick marble countertop, offering both style and functionality.

Living, Dining and Hallway

Throughout the apartment, our team performed extensive wall and ceiling framing to seamlessly integrate the HVAC ductwork. Finishing details such as crown molding, baseboards, and picture molding were added to enhance the apartment’s aesthetic while maintaining its timeless character. We installed and refinished existing white oak hardwood floors, bringing new life to the space with a beautifully polished finish.

Bathroom Remodels

The primary bathroom was expanded to accommodate both a tub and shower, creating a spa-like retreat. The renovation included Porcelanosa tiles, a custom-built vanity, and elegant Waterworks plumbing fixtures that add a touch of luxury.

The kids’ bathroom remodel features exquisite Calacatta marble tiles in various sizes with a round nosing finish, complemented by a custom vanity and high-end Waterworks fixtures. The guest bathroom remodel showcases a striking design with emerald wall and floor tile borders, cream square tiles, and brass Waterworks fixtures, blending timeless elegance with modern functionality.
